Dad's birthday

January 5 we celebrated my dad's 59th birthday! It was a good evening, we went to eat at Texas Roadhouse and then back to their house for presents and cake/ice cream!

Christmas Morning - First one together!

Rafa and I enjoyed our first Christmas as husband and wife! We had a nice relaxing morning opening gifts.

Christmas day we went over to my parents to open some gifts with them and Laura.

Christmas eve we had my parents, Laura, and Rafa's dad over for a feast! We then opened some presents and watched Charlie Brown Christmas.

Idaho Falls

I love taking trips to Idaho Falls to visit family. It's been so nice having Staci and Kyle there as well since we can see them at the same time we visit Kevin and Becky (which means you should stay there and not go to Boise in the future!). We always have such a great time and I love visiting them and seeing the kids!!

Wes and Owen made of lots of art work while we were there! They are so cute and creative. I love being with them and interacting with these smart little guys. Madalyn is such a doll too and growing so fast! I only wish we lived closer so we could spend more time together!

Movember

During the month of November, Rafa has been growing a mustache for charity. It is officially called Movember and it donates money to mens health. Check out the website for more information and make a donation to Rafa Angeles to help support this good cause!

Our friends, Chaz and Nicole, hosted the mustache party for members of Rafa's team. Nicole did awesome at decorating and hosting this party. She even set up a photo op!

Verteran's Day

How grateful I am for all those who have sacrificed of themselves in the past, present, and future to defend our country and grant us our freedoms. It is amazing and so hard what they go through and there are not words to express how grateful I am for that. They sacrifice so much and go through things I cannot imagine. I am so proud of my husband, Rafa, and so happy he is here with me now. He served for four years and spent half that time in Iraq serving with the 1-77.

Grove Creek Canyon

A few weeks ago we went hiking up Grove Creek Canyon with my dad and sister, Laura. It was beautiful!! The leaves were changing and it was a perfect time to go.

Thanks Laura for suggesting such a fun hike! While hiking to the waterfall we ran into a whole bunch of people who were coming down from a wedding up there. That would be so cool to get married up the canyon! :)
